Brown Girls has been running weekly since October 2006. The awesome scripts are by Deepa Sood, who writes about the issues she encounters as an overworked Marc Jacobs-loving mother who happens to be Indian. Each week's strip ends up being a nail-bitingly tight turnaround, so it's been a good lesson in economical visual storytelling and time-saving Photoshop techniques. The comic lives at Deepa's blog.
